Sometimes you have days that make you scratch your head. Passion is a good thing and there is so little of it. These two little moments are certainly not short of it. Feel free to tell me what you think.

I've watched the first video and here are my initial thoughts:
On who will marry his daughter: Fair enough to be protective of a young child, however, if his daughter is an adult (and I don't know how old she is), he should have faith in God and in how he has brought her up to make good decisions. It makes him look like he wants control over everything in his daughters life, rather than trusting her to God.
On the second issue, he's right to an extent. We should get our teaching about the Bible from those that see Jesus as the fulfillment of what it says. But we can always learn from what Jewish understanding of scripture was in Christ's day to help us put Jesus' words into more perspective - but surely there are Christians who have researched this...
Thanks Andrew. I agree on the daughter comments and as ever Driscoll has a rant that needs its context. He is refreshingly forthright though.
