Were it not for Eugene Peterson theological college would have killed me off before the race had even started. Thankfully, I found his complete theological teaching on tape in the college library and listened to every lecture he gave at Regent Vancouver over a period of two years. He was my Professor, Pastor, Teacher, Counselor, Father and Friend. I have since read all his books- many of them more than once. It is not an exaggeration to say I own him my life......
